Rita Deegan

Rita Deegan of Birch Street, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 53. She was born in Oceanside on December 17, 1953, a daughter of the late Edward M. and Helen M. Ryan Deegan. A dedicated cleaner, through Ulster – Greene ARC, Rita worked at Speigel Brothers Paper Company and other area businesses. Surviving are two sisters Patricia Goehring and Deborah Crockett, both of Saugerties; many nieces and nephews and dear friends at Ulster - Greene ARC. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Pine Grove Ave., Kingston. Fr. Frank Wallner will officiate. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ulster-Greene ARC, 471 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401.
