Rita W. McGrath

Rita W. McGrath (Bourgoin), age 82, a previous resident of Lake Katrine, passed away January 15, 2014 at Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine. She had been a resident of Dionne Commons Assisted Living in Brunswick, Maine since November 2013. She was the daughter of William Bourgoin and Clara Fournier of Brunswick, Maine where she had been born and raised. On August 28, 1954 she married Roger C. McGrath of the Bronx, NY who had been stationed at the Brunswick Naval Base and who predeceased her on February 16, 1975. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne McGrath of Lake Katrine, NY; a son, Lee McGrath of Saugerties, NY; Grandchildren, Michael Aversano of Atlanta, Georgia and Rosalie Dalessandro of Cortland Manor, NY and two great grandsons. Also surviving are sister, Arlene Gamerl of Omaha, Nebraska; brother Lucien Bourgoin of Brunswick, Maine; sister Nancy Ramsey of Freeport, Maine, sister Louise Livernois of Ormand Beach, Florida, sister Lorraine Bourgoin of Tucson, Arizon and brother Donald Bourgoin of Walpole, Maine. The family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Sunday, March 30, 2013 from 2-4 PM. Interment will be private.
