Rose Augustine

Rose Augustine, of Richmond Parkway, Town of Ulster, died peacefully at home on April 24, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. Born November 11, 1919, Mrs. Augustine was the daughter of the late Nicola and Rosa Valentino Mastrianni of Brooklyn, NY. For several years, Mrs. Augustine owned and operated the Barbrarosa Hair Salon in the Town of Ulster. Her husband of 64 years, Anthony Augustine; died February 13, 2005. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Fescoe of Kingston, four sons, Raymond of Delray Beach, Florida, Michael, Ronald, and Robert all of Kingston; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered always as a devoted wife and mother. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Saturday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home by Deacon Jack Peters. Interment will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
