Rose Cohen Brines

Rose Cohen Brines, formerly of Kingston died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Hospice Metro in Denver, Colorado. She was 98. She was born in New York City on September 28, 1904, a daughter of the late David and Anna Goldstein Cohen. From 1940 - 1972 Mrs. Brines lived in Kingston and was a member of Hadassah and Congregation Ahavath Israel. Her husband, Harry Brines died in 1970. In 1972 she moved to Colorado and lived with her daughter Joyce. One brother Hyman Codell and two sisters arion Spitzer and Lilyan Kurtz, all died previously. Beloved wife of the late Harry Brines; loving mother of Joyce Brines Wall; sister of the late Hyman Codell, Marion Spitzer and Lilyan Kurtz; grandmother of Robert S. Wall, M.D. and Leslee A. Morgan; great grandmother of Mellissa, Julia and Lillie Morgan. Nieces and nephews also survive.
