Rose LaRocca

Town of Ulster – Rose LaRocca of Ulster Landing Road died Sunday, October 5, 2003 at Westchester Medical Center. She was 79. She was born in East Kingston on September 5, 1924, a daughter of the late Frank and Mollie Aiello Carpino. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. La Rocca was a parishioner of St. Colman’s Church, East Kingston and the Altar – Rosary Society. She was a member of the East Kingston Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband Louis LaRocca died March 2, 2003; one brother Ralph Carpino died previously. Beloved wife of the late Louis LaRocca; loving mother of Louis LaRocca and his wife Maura, Helene Weaver and her husband Frank, Dineen LaRocca, Anthony LaRocca and his wife Joan and Teresa Leris; sister of Mary Shettler and the late Ralph Carpino; grandmother of Eric LaRocca, Michelle Asci, Jennifer Lynn West, and Demetri Kostis Leris; great grandmother of Isabella, Dante and Gian Asci. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be Friday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at. St. Colman’s Church at 10:00. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
