Roseann Stenson

Roseann Stenson, 63, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Robert D. & Anna Mae Weishaupt Stenson. She was a kindergarten teacher with the Kingston School System for over 30 years. Roseann enjoyed photography, skiing, reading, animals and children. She was especially fond of her two cats, Callie and Spooky. Roseann is survived by a sister Barbara A. Ashcroft and her husband John of Loudonville, a brother Timothy P. Stenson and his wife Ann of Hurley, a niece Sara Stenson of Boston and a nephew Daniel Stenson and his wife Caitlin Donovan of Brooklyn; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends . In addition to her parents, Roseann was predeceased by a brother, Robert D. Stenson, Jr, who passed in 1994. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 1-4 PM. The funeral procession will form on Monday from the funeral home at 10:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
