Sandra Lee DeCicco

Sandra Lee Sinagra DeCicco of Rondout Drive, Kingston died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Kingston Hospital. She was 63. She was born in Kingston on October 6, 1943, a daughter of Samuel Sinagra and the late Elizabeth Coffey Sinagra. Mrs. DeCicco was raised in New Paltz and graduated New Paltz High School. She attended Dutchess Community College and received a teaching degree from SUNY New Paltz. She taught at St. Joseph's School, New Paltz. She married Rosario 'Ross' DeCicco in New Paltz on September 18, 1966 and moved to Kingston. Mrs. DeCicco later worked for I.B.M., Poughkeepsie and then at J.C. Penney, Kingston. Her husband died November 6, 1992. One sister Barbara Sottile died previously. Surviving, in addition to her father of Walden, are three daughters Michelle Grossbohlin of Kingston, Tina Marie Mahoney of Hyde Park and Danielle DeCicco-Diehl of Kingston; one sister Katherine Hritz of Hyde Park; five grandchildren Sierra and Elizabeth Mahoney, Jesse and Joshua Grossbohlin and Helena A. Diehl; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home on Monday from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 12:00. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
