Sarah Rafkind

Sarah Rafkind of Golden Hill, Kingston died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at age 97. She was born in New York City, a daughter of the late Bernard and Anna L. Markman Kahn. A resident of Middletown, CT since 1943, Sarah was a member of Congregation Adath Israel of Middletown, CT and Hadassah. Her husband Dr. Abraham Benjamin Rafkind died in 1991. Surviving are one son Daniel Rafkind and his wife Susan of Kingston, NY, Anne L. Morris of Bethlehem, PA and Isabel R. Hendry of Witchita, KS; Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Congregation Adath Israel, Corner of Church and Broad Streets, (8 Broad Street), Middletown, Connecticut at 1:00PM Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
