Shane M. Douglas

Shane M. Douglas of Little Britain Rd., Newburgh died Saturday, September 18, 2010. He was 43. He was born in Kingston, a son of Patricia A. Beadle Douglas and the late William R. Douglas. A mechanical drafter, he was employed by Spence Engineering in Walden. Surviving in addition to his mother of Kingston are a brother, Scott Douglas and his wife Marie of Lake Katrine, a sister, Simone Douglas of Tennessee and his former wife, Rene Douglas of Walden. Three nieces, one nephew and aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Thursday from 7 - 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 8:30 PM. Deacon Richard Frohmiller will officiate. Cremation will be at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery with inurnment in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley at a later date.
