Sharon Barber, 66, of Saugerties, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Stanley & Dorothy Brainerd Barber. Sharon loved to pray and string on her guitar. She liked her hugs and kisses, her pink elephant and going to Build a Bear in Poughkeepsie.
Sharon in survived by her Mid-Hudson ARC family. She is also survived by Mark & Laura Storch who advocated for her in a guardianship fashion.
Sharon will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Colman’s Church.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
