Sharon Howard

Sharon Howard, 65 of Kingston, died Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late James & Bessie Howard Donaldson. She was a long time resident of Taconic DDSO and will be greatly missed. Sharon had an immense love for all animals, but especially dogs. Sharon helped out at the SPCA whenever possible by collecting items to be donated or actually going there and visiting with the animals. Sharon also had a passion for wrestling and John Cena was her favorite. Sharon liked to knit and what she knitted would usually be for someone she loved. She enjoyed doing word finds, cross word puzzles and listening to country music. Sharon was survived by her friends at Taconic DDSO and her best friend Jennifer Newkirk whom she loved very much. Sharon will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Britton officiating. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
