Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown of Livingston St. died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her home in the Livingston House of Ulster-Greene ARC. She was 69. She was born February 4, 1939 in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late William Banks and Sarah Cooper. For many years, Stephanie was employed at Pilot Industries in both Kingston and Catskill. In recent years, she also worked at McDonalds. Stephanie loved music and eating out, especially spaghetti and Chinese food. She also enjoyed latch hooking rugs which she gave away and watching TV shows about little people and babies. She was always concerned about the welfare of her care givers. Surviving are her advocate and friend, Peg Hamilton of Kingston and many dear friends at Ulster-Greene ARC with whom she lived and worked. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 12:00 PM at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Rev. Al Schofield will officiate. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
