Sylvia Barrett

Sylvia Barrett, 79, of Kingston, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her home. Born in Queens, she was a daughter of the late Silvio & Edith Donahue Zucca. Sylvia was very artistic. She loved gardening, animals, bird watching and owls. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Albert Barrett of Kingston, whom she married on September 29, 1961, a daughter, Jennifer G. Barrett of Gulf Breeze, FL and a granddaughter, Christina Adamyk. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her brother, Warren Zucca. The family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 4-6 PM. Funeral Service and interment will be private.
