Walter Darryl Parham

Walter "Darryl" Parham of Skytop Dr., Town of Ulster died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. He was 61. He was born in Atlanta, GA on December 7, 1946, a son of the late Thad Less and Mary Belle Collins Parham Jr. Darryl was a very creative and spiritual person, a poet, and an accomplished musician. He devoted much of his life to working with troubled youth and caring for the elderly. He is survived by his cherished and loving daughter Ana, her sister Kaja and Bojana, one sister Debbie, niece Katie and nephew Justin. His presence in their lives, and in the lives of his many friends, will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 3:00 at Montrepose Cemetery. A tribute to Darryl's life will be arranged at a later date.
