William M. Young, Jr.

June 12, 1950 — February 8, 2005

William M. Young Jr. of Murray Street, Kingston died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Kingston Hospital. He was 54. He was born in New York City on June 12, 1950, a son of the late William M. and Dorothea Cameron Young Sr. Bill moved to Ellenville in 1962. He graduated from UCC and SUNY New Paltz. Over the years he worked as a physical therapist and at Reis Insurance, Kingston. An avid fisherman, he was a member of A.A.R.P., and was certified at C.P.R. He repaired antique clocks as a hobby and was a member of the National Assoc. of Watch and Clockmakers. His daughter Shannon Marie Young died October 8, 1983. One sister Elizabeth Williams and one brother Thomas Young both died previously. Surviving are five sisters Diane Libertorie of Arnold, MD, Dorothy Mitchell of Marceed, CA, Patricia Noonan of MD, Barbara Hertle of Napanoch and Kathleen Kappeller of Red Hook; one brother George Andrew Young of New Hampshire, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Fair View Cemetery, Stone Ridge in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
