William Rosenberg

William Rosenberg, formerly of Hauppage, died Monday, March 7, 2005 at Ferncliff Nursing Home. He was 82. He was born in Brooklyn on October 16, 1922 a son of the late Abraham and Rae Lachman Rosenberg. A US Army veteran, he served in the US Army. For 35 years Mr. Rosenberg worked in the Bronx as a letter carrier. Formerly of Hauppage, Mr. Rosenberg recently moved to this area. His wife, Helen Kirschner Rosenberg died in 1978. Surviving are one son Dr. Mark Rosenberg and his wife Donna of Hurley, one daughter Doris Ling of Shirley, one brother Jack Rosenberg of Florida, one sister Marilyn Grassian of Florida, four grandchildren Abraham, Emily and Kate Rosenberg and Mark Ling Jr., several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 PM at the home of Dr. Mark Rosenberg. Memorial contributions may be made to Ferncliff Nursing Home, 21 Ferncliff Dr., Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
