Adeline Fortune

Adeline Fortune, 93, of Highland, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation in Highland. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Anthony & Mamie Cicio Augello. She managed Block's Luggage Store in Smithtown. Adeline took great pride in her Italian cooking. She used recipes that were passed down from the family. She was also a devout Catholic, who was active in the various parishes she was a member of. Adeline is survived by her two sons, Christopher Fortune and his wife Oksana of Port Ewen, Russell Fortune of Seattle, WA. Three grandchildren, Nick, Natalie and Ivan also survive. A graveside service in St. Charles Cemetery will be held privately. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Presentation Church, 209 Hoyt St, Port Ewen, NY 12466.
