Bobbee Reeder

Barbara A. "Bobbee" Reeder of Parrish Lane, Lake Katrine died Friday, April 24, 2009 at Albany Medical Center. She was 70. She was born in Yonkers on August 2, 1938 a daughter of Frances Welsh and the late John R. Welsh. A graduate of Saugerties High School, class of 1956 Bobbee worked at several area businesses including Adirondack Trailways. She retired from Trailways in 1998 and then had several part time jobs including Wal-Mart where she worked the past several years. Her husband Earl Reeder died July 13, 1994. Surviving in addition to her mother of Saugerties are one son John J. Reeder of Kingston; one daughter Melissa Yuran of Saugerties; two sisters Nanci Lamb of Saugerties and Patricia Welsh of Lake Katrine; four grandchildren Joshua, Richard, Christina Yuran and Olivia Reeder and one great grandson Jason. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Barclay Heights. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tobacco Free Action Coalition of Ulster County, 741 Grant Avenue, Lake Katrine, NY 12449.
