Erica Gordon

Erica Elizabeth Gordon, 82, of Lake Katrine, departed this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Ten Broeck Commons. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth & Hilda Karson Gordon. Erica graduated from Wappingers Falls High School in 1952 and then attended Syracuse University. She worked for IBM and was a member of the Quarter Century Club, before retiring in 1991. She was an avid collector and volunteered for several organizations. She loved gardening and reading. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very generous in her support of local artists. Left to mourn her memory are good friends, Barbara Davis of Poughkeepsie and Lee Finlay of Shokan, as well as many friends and acquaintances at Ten Broeck Commons. Friends will be received at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
