Frank T. Crohn, 91, of Rhinebeck, died, July 26, 2015 at his home.
Born in New York City, he was the son of the late George & Eleanor Wohl Crohn. In addition to the pride he took in his family, he spent decades in the business world. Frank founded and built two insurance companies, served on the boards of several financial institutions and insurance companies as well as philanthropic organizations.
Frank is survived by his wife of 34 years, Helene Crohn of Rhinebeck, whom he married on March 13, 1981, six children, Frank T. Crohn, Jr., Carole Davis, Alex Crohn, Adrienne Crohn, Laurie Jannelli and David Crohn. 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one nephew also survive.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brother, George Crohn, Jr.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Congregation Emanuel in Kingston with Rabbi Yael Romer officiating.
The interment will follow in Temple Israel, Hastings on the Hudson.
