Helen Rotella

Kingston – Helen Rotella, formerly of the Governor Clinton Apartments died Monday, March 1, 2004 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 76. She was born in Franklin, NY on January 20, 1928, a daughter of the late Morton and Nora German. A longtime resident of Plank Road, Phoenicia, she moved to this area in 2003. A former member of the United Methodist Church in Phoenicia, she was an avid bingo player. One son, Morton H. Rotella, four brothers William, Harvey, Virgil, and Russell German, and one sister Beatrice German, all died previously. Surviving are four daughters Nora Eagan of Rome, NY, Rosemary Carr of Tuson, AZ, Sherry Rotella of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and Angelica Jorgensen of Hayes, VA.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. A private memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date.
