Henry V. Gleason, 95, of Saugerties, died Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home.
Born in Colton, NY, he was a veteran of the United States Airforce, having served for 20 years. He then worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years. He loved to go dancing with his ladies and riding motorcycles, which he did until the age of 85. In his retirement years, he owned a lawn cutting business until he was 92.
Henry is survived by his three children, Cathy Schroeter and her partner, Fred Hofbauer of Saugerties, John Gleason of Maine and Paul Gleason of Baltimore, MD.
Henry was predeceased by his son, Henry V. Gleason, Jr.
Henry will be interred with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery.
