Joan Marie Amato McNally, 90, of Kingston NY passed away on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021.
She was born in Kingston to parents Julia Nardi and James Amato.
Joan was a bookkeeper at the Daily Freeman and worked in the clerical department of Metropolitan Life, retiring in 1991. Over the years Joan was a member of the Rapid Hose Ladies Auxiliary, Kingston Republican Club, Ulster County Republican Club, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her son, Steven John Longendyke, sisters Doris, Patsy, and Carol and brothers, Richie and Jimmy.
Joan is survived by her son Nick (Norma) Longendyke of Panama City Beach FL, grandchildren Jamie DeCicco (Fred) Miller of Kingston NY, Stephanie (Eric) Yanis of Ballston Spa NY, Nicholas (Fiancee Kate) Longendyke of Dallas TX, and Steven (Chynna) Longendyke of Broomfield CO and many nieces and nephews.
The family will gather at a later date for a Celebration of Life at Mount Marion Cemetery in Saugerties, NY where Joan will be reunited with her beloved son, Steve.
