Josephine DeCicco

Josephine Parise DeCicco of Fairview Garden Apartments died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Kingston Hospital. She was 84. She was born in East Kingston on September 27, 1919, a daughter of the late Dominick and Theresa Berardi Parise. Her husband Francis 'Frank' DeCicco died June 7, 1989. Four sisters Nettie Naccarato, Emma Tiano, Teresa Guido and Mary Parise; and five brothers Leonard, Ahmed, Frank, John and Eugene Parise all died previously. Surviving are one son John DeCicco of Kingston; one daughter Diane Avery of Kingston; one brother Dominick Parise of Rhinebeck; one sister Lillian Ferraro of Poughkeepsie; four grandchildren, Christopher, Jacqueline, Mark DeCicco and Steve Ellworth Jr. with whom she lived; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A funeral home service will then be conducted at 12:00 PM by Fr. Luke McGann. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
